Sean Sirois

Sean Sirois is Managing Director with Demeter Advisors Inc. and assists corporations, asset owners and investment managers to better understand and meet the environmental, social and governance expectations of their stakeholders. He also provides advice on capital origination and corporate development for funds and corporations in the field of sustainable investment. He is Managing Director of Corporate Development for 123Lash, a Singapore based technology company focused on improving financial, environmental and social outcomes in the ports and shipping industry.

Sean’s career in global capital markets with Toronto-Dominion, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank spanned multiple market cycles. He has broad and diversified experience with issuers and investors in public and private financings in debt and equity. He participated in the origination, structuring and syndication of over $1 billion in solar and wind energy public-private partnership projects. Sean was also a member of Anges Quebec, a seed capital investor group and was a partner at Ipsol Capital, a multi-factor public equities investment manager.

He is a member of the CFA Society of Montreal; the Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada; and the Responsible Investment Association of Canada. He is the Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Board for Quebec with the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and sits on the Advisory Board for the Telfer Capital Fund. He is a member of the Board of Governors and chairs the Governance, Ethics and Nominations Committee at Loyola High School. Sean was previously a board member of Tyndale St-Georges Community Centre from 2002 to 2007 and continues to be involved in their fundraising program.
